Congratulations to Sr Orla who received Ireland’s Presidential Distinguished Service Award (PDSA) for Business and Education from Irish President Higgins.

The award is presented each year to Irish people abroad working in different fields such as the Arts, Science and Sports. Sr. Orla was thanked by the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins for her work educating and advocating for young women in South Sudan and raising the profile of Ireland internationally.
